Welcome Friends!

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to my official website. As you may know, I started my career in jazz with the renowned Thad Jones - Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra in 1972 with a state department tour of the old Soviet Union. I was to be a temporary replacement for the great Eddie Daniels, but as fate would have it, it became a two year stint.

I have been privileged in my career to record, tour and play with some of the greatest names in jazz, including McCoy Tyner, Horace Silver, Max Roach, and Lena Horne just to name a few. Traveling all over the United States, Europe and Asia has allowed me to maintain a career that has spanned more than forty years. It has gone by so quickly, but I'm not done yet. I still have a lot more notes left to play.

I'm currently enjoying my teaching position as jazz saxophone instructor at the University of Illinois, my alma mater.

To those of you who are just hearing about me, please read my bio in the Artist's Profile.
